How do I become a member of the AM Family?

The first step to becoming a member of the AM Family is to call 918-856-9167 and get set up for an evaluation.

What is an evaluation?

An evaluation is where you sit down with our trainers and have an honest discussion about where you think you are as a baseball player and where you want to be. The trainer will try and understand as much about you as a baseball player. The objective is to see if we  are the right fit for you and if you are the right fit for us. These evaluation can last anywhere between 30-60 minutes.

Do you do lessons?

We are a long term membership based facility, we do not do lessons. There is a process to getting you where you want to to go.

Do you rent cages or your facility?

No, we do not rent our cages or facility.

Do you do quick fixes?

We can, but we prefer not to, as we are looking for serious players who will commit to a process.

Can I train for a couple of months and then stop my membership?

We are seeking  players who want to commit to a process and work hard. The program is progressive and requires continuous training. If you are looking for a quick fix, there are plenty of other places that can help you. We are looking for serious players.

What ages do you start training clients?

We normally start training clients around 11-12 years old. We have a few spots for 9-10 year olds, but only accept those on a case by case basis.

Do you train college athletes or higher?

Absolutely! We have the ability to get college and beyond athlete to look at their mechanics, mental, and emotional abilities on a deeper level.

How do I pay for my membership?

Each member will have a card on file and a monthly autodraft.

Do you do video analysis?

Absolutely! We are heavy on video analysis, as the movement is so fast that you can’t possibly catch everything with the naked eye. Our hitters and pitchers will know their swing and their throwing mechanics really well under our system.

Are your sessions one on one?

Our sessions are semi-group. We are in the business of teaching your son/daughter a process and a routines at which they will take ownership. Everyone has their own personal development plan.

Do you offer anything beside hitting and pitching/throwing?

At this time we do not offer any other positional training but hope to in the future.

Do you use data?

Yes, we believe anything you can measure you can improve. We also believe anything worth practicing is worth measuring.

“Geoff is a student of the swing and constantly searching for the best way to communicate to his students. He’s even gone as far as asking his students to take the TAP assessment (free to the athlete) to look for clues on how to individually structure how he delivers instruction. He incorporates technology to further determine what the naked eye misses, and to optimize the kinetic chain and movement efficiencies”.

“I have known Geoff for 3 years now. He is student of the game as well as a great teacher. He brings an element of compassion and work ethic that is contagious and explains why clients continue to count on and trust Geoff’s advice. He has personally help me think through tough some issues with my clients and I know that I can count on him to give solid feedback. If I had son that was wanting to get deep into what it takes to be a next level player I would feel totally comfortable dropping him off at Athletic Mission and knowing he was in good hands”.
