Welcome to the baseball Awakening podcast. I am Geoff Rottmayer thank you so much for tuning in. Tulsa Baseball I am excited to launch this podcast and share some awesome information. – I like everyone else in the baseball community played through youth ball, high school, college and even got drafted. But the game had a different direction for me – the game wanted me to learn from some of the best and teach kids to become the best version of themselves on and off the baseball field. Currently I own a baseball academy in Tulsa Oklahoma, where we work hard ever day developing player by taking them through a process. Yep, The process!

I started this podcast for several different reasons: 1) while the kids I train and teach are at school, away to college or playing their pro season I talk on the phone with anyone who is willing to talk baseball with me and I learn something every single time, tremendous conversations that I feel other should hear. So, I respectfully started asking some of these great baseball minded people if I could record the calls and publish it for you. Tulsa Baseball So here we are. 2) I have learned so much over the last 14-15 years, that I feel like I have some information worth sharing as well, so thought this would be a great platform to do so because I suck at writing.

So here how this is going to go:

I am going to publish a conversation that I had which will be full of knowledge bombs. Let me share, I am a podcast listener, I read lots of books and have these great conversations and I always try to ensure I take away at least one thing – just one thing – and implement it right away. So, this means I alway recap the podcast I listen to, the conversations I have, as well as the books I read in a journal. Tulsa Baseball I am going to dedicate a recap show the very next day after I publish a conversation – and the goal of the recap show is to share with you what were the biggest takeaway from the conversations that I had and how I plan to implement it with the players that I train. I also hope for you guys to share with me the biggest take away from the conversations by emailing your thoughts to geoff@baseballawakening.com – I will dedicate a show reading your email and sharing with everyone who listens because different perspective and different lens can help everyone.

Then on The show I decide to do one my own will be shorter clips between 15-20 minutes where I hope to share with you what I have learned over the years and I don’t know everything but I feel like I have some info worth sharing. In these conversation – I would love to hear from you – any thoughts and even constructive criticisms. I will dedicate a show to these thoughts and constructive criticism because again different perspective and different lens can help everyone.

Lastly, I appreciate you listening to The Baseball Awakening Podcast. Tulsa Baseball Please subscribe and review, whenever you felt you have formulated an opinion on this show to do so. Thank you again and hope you find some value out of this podcast. Let me know if I can help you in anyway, just email me at geoff@baseballawakening.com.
